What??? – The social media services have delivered just the amount of entertainment people want and need today – short, to the point. The 8-sec window determines if someone will stick around for more or jump to something new/different. It’s also the reason that AVOD ads can be both short and effective. Poor Incentive – YouTube does a very good job of promoting how much money people can earn on the site by displaying questionable actions. Lil Tay was encouraged by her mother so much that mom got fired. Maybe the kid can support her, but were the ultimate results worth it when the youngster grows up? Short Films – TikTok has rocketed in popularity, becoming a great way for people to do good, bad and questionable promotion. The app has rapidly outpaced Quibi in popularity and viewing. But for companies, short creative videos have become a valuable marketing tool to reach the mobile marketplace.
