AirTags For keeping track of things that aren’t an actual Apple device, there are AirTags. Plop one of these in a backpack or lunchbox and your phone or Mac can always tell you where you left it. A nice feature is that you can program the Find My app with safe locations so you can leave your lunch or backpack or lunch in a locker and won’t be annoyed by false alarms. Though Apple and others offer fancy (and pricy) fob cases for the AirTag, we think that keeping the device concealed offers the best level of security if theft is a concern. The AirTag lists for $29 each or $99 for a 4-pack and Apple offers free engraving that can help you keep track of which tag belongs to what. We’ve also noted that this is one of Apple’s most frequently discounted products, so keep an on prices, especially on Amazon for some significant savings that pop up from time to time.
