Adobe Video Goes AI Out for IBC By Ric Getter As the summer draws to a close, video pros worldwide will converge on the IBC conference in Amsterdam, Europe’s NAB. As with the American gathering, Adobe will arrive in the Netherlands with big news of new features and enhancements to its video production suite. This year, features introduced at MAX and NAB have gotten even smarter and even more helpful with some entirely new capabilities sprinkled in. Adobe Premiere Pro is tightening its grip on the international film and video community as productions created with its suite of products continued to garner awards worldwide. But for much of the past year, strikes in Hollywood have idled many postproduction artists, editors, and effects people. Adobe responded with a series of free trainings, to help them to make better use of that downtime. The company has also toured the world to gather feedback and ideas from its user base. This release of the Adobe video applications boasts over 20 new features based on their input.
