Six Ways to Get Free Apple TV+ By Kelly Hodgkins Apple is partnering with various companies and retailers to offer Apple TV+ for free. AppleTV+ is one of many options in the highly-competitive online streaming market. The video-on-demand service stands out among the crowd because it relies primarily on original programming instead of licensed content. It's also relatively affordable, with a $4.99 monthly price tag. To grow its subscriber base, Apple is partnering with various companies and retailers to offer AppleTV+ for free with a purchase. Read on to discover how you can get AppleTV+ without paying a dime. 6. Free AppleTV+ for a week Apple itself offers a free seven-day trial of its AppleTV+ service. After a week, the service will auto-renew at the monthly rate of $4.99. The seven-day trial is handy if you just want to check out the service and see what it offers. A week goes by fast, so don't get too caught up in a new series unless you want to shell out that monthly premium. AppleTV+ relies heavily on original programming which is released one episode at a time. Your trial likely will expire before the next installment in the series is released. 5. One free month with Apple One plan Prefer to check out AppleTV+ for a month instead of a week? Then you should check out Apple's Apple One subscription service. It bundles multiple Apple services into a package that starts at $15 per month for Apple Music, AppleTV+, Aracde, and iCloud (50GB). You can even sign up for a family plan that lets you share all of Apple's services (Music, tv+, Arcade, 2TB iCloud, News+ and Fitness+) with up to five people for $30 per month. Best of all, you can check out the services for one month by signing up for a free trial. Just set a reminder to cancel Apple One before your month is up. It could get expensive if you forget. 4. Three months of AppleTV+ with an Apple product You can get three free months of AppleTV+ if you purchase a select Apple Product. You just can't buy any Apple product, though. You must buy an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or Mac. This limitation means the Apple Watch, Apple HomePod, AirPods, and other Apple devices do not qualify for this offer. You also have to redeem the promotion within 90 days. Though it's not going to entice you go out and buy a Mac, Apple's offer is an added bonus if you are going to purchase one of the eligible devices anyways.
