Is Counter-Strike 2 coming to Mac in 2023? Available on Mac and PC, it is one of the most popular FPS games in history. CS 2 is a new update to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, featuring better graphics and improved gameplay experiences. With news of Counter-Strike 2 on the horizon, it’s time to find out whether Mac gamers will be part of this update. Counter-Strike 2 Mac Release Date So far, no release date has been announced for the game on any platform. The beta version of the CS 2 update is already out but only available to PC players. This does make some Mac users worried about the availability of CS2 on Mac, but given that it’s an update to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, a game that is well-supported on macOS, it is reasonable to imagine that it be released on macOS as well. CS 2 Mac System Requirements No official requirements have been announced for the game, but it is safe to assume that we’ll be working with requirements that should be very similar to CS: GO’s current requirements: • OS: MacOS X 10.11 (El Capitan) or later • Processor: Intel Core Duo Processor (2GHz or better) • Memory: 2 GB RAM • Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 2400 or better / NVIDIA 8600M or better • Storage: 15 GB available space Why is Counter-Strike 2 for Mac a big deal? It is always exciting to see an old game get big updates to modernize it, especially when it’s an all-time favorite like CS: GO.
