I have been able to freely design my own rhythm and structure, and that is very beneficial to my energy balance. How do you balance a work-life as an artist? There is no clear separation between work and life for me because creativity is my life. Do what you love and love what you do. This philosophy usually makes it quite easy for me to have a healthy life balance. Of course, not every project fulfills you in the same way and you can't always choose. But for the most part I find a positive creative flow in what I do. Describe your ideal working environment. Depending on the project, I prefer a quieter environment where I can focus. I love it colorful and playful with inspiring pictures. Most of the time I work alone, but I also like to be among people with whom I can exchange ideas in order to find new colors and shapes together. It's a gift to look at smiling faces when I show my compositions. Do you have a favorite piece of artwork that you have created? There are so many compositions and characters over the years. It is not possible for me to highlight one. Of course, there are pictures that I personally like better than others or my perception changes over time, but I don't have this one favorite. In addition, new images are constantly being added. You can find a selection of my favorite pictures here during the interview. Do you have a particular project that you had the most enjoyment working on? There are projects that have a special position due to the creative freedom and the inspiring collaboration. Especially with the books and stories my wife and I have created, we work more deeply with the characters and the world they live in. This also brings projects deeper into our hearts. A special customer project is the creation of 10 waste monsters that we were able to develop for waste management in our hometown of Lörrach. It's always great when this life-size
