There have been no sacrifices for light weight. The keyboard is _good_. And there is a welcome selection of ports: 3 Thunderbolt 4 (USB C), the most powerful and versatile iteration; headphone; HDMI, SDXC (backward compatible to early SD cards), and as mentioned above, MagSafe 3.
