looks beautiful. That's the main goal. Everyone has different ideas, and the art director's role is to unify these ideas so that they fit together for the overall production. Q - Do you still have time to create for yourself, or is it mostly professional work at this point? Right now, it's less personal work, as I am very busy these days. There are a few personal projects I want to do, so if I have more time, I'd like to give it more attention. I enjoy creating personal work, and I try not to sacrifice these projects too much. Sometimes I have to dedicate all of my time to work, but I always come back to my own creations, post online, and interact with people on social media. Q - What is the biggest difference between your professional work and your personal work? With my personal work, I can be much more experimental, that's what I like about it. I can also take things in a weirder and more unique direction if I want. TV shows, movies, and games aim to appeal to a very broad audience, so you don't get to explore weird or unique ideas so often. Another thing is that you can spend more time with something personal since you don't have a deadline. Sometimes I wake up the next day and fix something in a piece, and eventually, it may become a portfolio piece or something to share online. This kind of work comes from my own experience, and it shows my personality. Q - Do you sometimes draw something and imagine it, for example, as a TV series? Oh, yes! I actually have a short film idea in my head that was just generated by an illustration I was doing. Short films usually don't need big productions. If I could spend more time with the idea, I might be able to create something with just a small team to do some 3D animation and create a simple 2-3 minute film. Q - You have created illustrations with and for Clip Studio Paint, but how did you first discover the software? Many years ago, when it was still called Manga Studio, I came across it when I was assigned a project for which I needed to create a comic
