The publisher and developer has routinely opted to forgo a booth on the show floor and instead take over the hotel and bar next to the convention center for two entire days. The event provides a space for Bethesda superfans and newbies alike to mix, mingle, and play the latest games coming out of Bethesda. Fallout Pip Boy cosplayers mingle with Elder Scrolls die-hards, and this year, they all waited in line to try out the soon-to-be-released Doom Eternal, a follow-up to the critically acclaimed Doom 2016 reboot. Acer Predator After Party If nightclubs, bright lights, and a party atmosphere are more your thing, the Predator After Party is sure to hit the spot. This perennial PAX fan favorite is a rare opportunity for Acer to demonstrate its most cutting-edge computers and peripherals directly to gamers. Acer Predator Swag is abundant, and lucky gamers can even walk away with some serious hardware prizes, including high-end gaming laptops! Acer was showing off its latest gaming monitors and peripherals, as well as the Predator Thronos Air immersive gaming rig which none of us will ever own, but it's nice to dream. The late-night party hosted at the Royale nightclub was another hit this year, trending at #10 on Twitter at the time and #1 in Boston! Gamers will surely be lining up early next year if and when Acer returns to PAX East 2021.
