Gaming-themed drinks grease the skids, and strangers collide to tr y out all sorts of quirk y, one-of-a- kind titles that are typically bursting with charm and personality. This year was no different, featuring more polished games like Biped to more unique experiences like an educational game about global warming. Nova Polar Lab, from Nova Labs, aims to make exploring the science of climate change an entertaining and interactive experience. Sandship, from Rockbite Games, was another intriguing title with an approachable art style and assembly line puzzle mechanic that felt right at home on an iPad. It's definitely worth digging into when this one comes out.
