Adobe MAX 2019 Keynotes A Celebration of Creativity Story and Photos by Ric Getter DAY ONE: The Parade of Products The fact that Adobe products tend to sprout features that everybody seems to want is no accident. They constantly work to get close to their users, earning what they want and need. And each year they gather around them 15,000 or so of the most talented and dedicated for an event called Adobe MA X . For 2019, Adobe centered the conference around a theme that was close to everyone's hear ts, from the top product managers presenting on stage to the rock-steady camera operators providing their big-screen images from the back of the huge hall: "Creativity for All." As always, the centerpieces of the three - day conference and four days of sessions are the morning keynotes. The first, best known for Adobe's announcements of new products and features, sets the theme for the show, and of ten telegraphs Adobe's focus for the coming year. Scot t Belsky, Adobe's Chief Product Officer (and one of Fast Company 's 100 Most Creative People in Business) opened the keynote with by making the point, "Imagination is what makes us unique as human beings." Our biggest limit, he added, "is time," something, he hopes, the 2020 release of Creative Cloud will help us make better use of. Scott Belsky evolves Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen Terry White VP of Design, Jamie Myrold and team used XD to design Adobe's mobile and the XD desktop interfaces, "Very meta," she noted
