And then I start unlocking weapon attachments, killstreaks, perks, and all the other loadout items that allow me to customize my experience and improve my overall weapon stats. After a few levels, combat becomes smooth sailing, with at least something unlocking after literally every match. Whether it's a new scope, a new piece of tactical equipment, or a couple of new paint jobs , there is always a carrot at the end of the stick. This year 's weapon customization system is the deepest I've seen, and it really lets you create exactly the weapon you want to be using. Get adventurous and test your options of ten ( I recommend copying the loadouts of your murderous enemies to see w hat work s well ). One of this year 's more notable additions is the inclusion ofa Realism mode that lies somewhere bet ween the Core experience and the unforgiving Hardcore experience. Nevertheless, it's exciting to experience the Modern War fare mechanics across such an epic scale. Spec (Co) Ops To round out the Modern War fare offerings is the fully cooperative mode Spec Ops. It has several of its own modes to keep you engaged, the headliner being the handful of "Operations" which are four-player extensions of the single player campaign. The Operations are challenging and require some serious skills to complete. I thought I'd jump into Spec Ops to easily mow down some NPCs with some strangers, but I was quickly jolted to reality as I lay dying, bullet s flying overhead, waiting for one of these kind strangers to revive me (which they usually did ). To help solve the Spec Ops puzzle are six different classes to choose from, each with their own unique active and passive ability—though
