If you leave your Mac turned on, you may even hear the hard drive working away in the middle of the night (that is, if you left it turned on). I discovered Version Tracker for Mac: This is a weekly mailing of updates, freeware, shareware and more for Mac. It is a treasure trove of interesting applications that will enable you to truly enjoy your Mac. For software designed for Mac, it is simple to Google a software application specifying "For the Mac" in the search. I have been a dedicated Mac user for almost four months as of the first of 2008. I have two PC laptops in my home office along with a tower, which have not been turned on in two months now. I am a confirmed Mac user and have recommen- ded the machine to everyone that asks and doesn't ask. I have convinced others to buy a Mac. It is a wonderful machine and I wish that I had changed years ago. Check out the Apple Store nearest to you. I found one almost two hours away but it was worth the drive to visit with the staff. Unlike many of the big box stores selling PC machines, these folks know what they are talking about and they will let you play with different Macs to your heart's content. I was once a confirmed Windows user, now my Mac is the only way to go.
