The caricature illustration class, a nine lesson course—covers everything from drawing and painting, to understanding anatomy, exaggeration, capturing the character of a person, painting hair, illustration and more! My portrait class is a six lesson course that touches on a variety of subject matters. For lesson one I cover proportions and share a couple different ways of correctly drawing the portrait. Lesson two is all about the eyes, lesson three on the nose, mouth, and ears. Lesson four is about values and color where I share my favorite palette to paint from which is basically the "Zorn" palette. Lesson five is on how to paint hair and lesson six is about the importance of developing aesthetics. In other words, once you have everything down and can draw and paint a good portrait, what next? What are you going to do with that skill to take it to the next place, how will you stand alone and apart from other portrait artists?
