M100 The most affordable avenue to the KEF sound is through their M-series line of headphones.  The M100s represent the simplest of KEF engineering, and offer premium sound in a diminutive form factor. The consistent racetrack-inspired design that is evident throughout the M100 in-ear headphones hint at the amount of thought that have gone into the creation of this product.  The rigid aluminum casings have diamond cut chamfered edges for both comfort and aesthetics.  You’ll notice this treatment not just on the metal casings of the earbuds, but also on the in-line remote and even the KEF accent piece that rests just above the auxiliary jack. The earbuds themselves feature an angled designed to minimize distortion and create a comfortable fit in each of your ears.  As someone who has worn a lot of earbuds and generally doesn’t have any problems with them, I found the M100’s to rest easily and lightly in my ear, with the casings hanging down vertically to help align each earbud. Of course, beyond good looks, the KEF sound is really what's on display here.  The M100’s feature large 10mm neodymium drivers for the full frequency range, which perform admirably for their size (a step up to the M200’s will get you a separate low-frequency and medium/high-frequency driver in each ear). The sound profile here is very clean, even, and balanced, as I’ve come to expect from KEF at this point, and the in-ear design forms a tight seal that lets you really concentrate on the audio.  The bass is there when it should be, but isn’t enhanced in any way, which might come as a surprise to anyone used to the current market of headphones. For the price, the KEF M100s deliver a great premium sound on-the-go.  They come with a carrying case and flight adapter, and are great for commuters and travelers. From headphones to Bluetooth speakers to home theatre to high end reference loudspeakers, KEF has taken years of research and expertise and created a full range of audio products known for their clarity and balance.  Regardless of your budget or audio needs, KEF likely has a product to improve your listening situation!
