MA: For those looking to learn and make a career
in the world of creating visual effects, what do you
recommend?
FS: To make the most use out of working in a
collective creative environment. In the academy, I
was surrounded by other like-minded creatives, and
they inspired me. There's much to be gained from
having the time for your pursuits and practice of
your craft. Putting your ideas to the test to learn
what works and doesn't, and finding yourself in that
process is what will give rise to creative expression.
