contents Contributors claudia Paredes has always had a strong passion for writing. She likes to write about technology, music, food, and people. She started writing for the high school newspaper, and while she was in college she wrote for the city newspaper, The Cambridge Chronicle. She has worked as a contributor writer for Miami Living Magazine & Mac Directory Magazine since 2009, and has had a blast working on every assigned story. Claudia studied Communication at Boston University, and received her bachelor's degree in 2010. She also minored in Russian and Eastern European Studies. Soon after graduation she moved to San Francisco where she worked at YouTube. Claudia is currently taking journalism classes and getting her Master of Liberal Arts at Harvard University. Although Claudia has moved around, she never forgets her Peruvian roots, and always plans a surprise trip to see her grandmother. thaddeus razdow, A native of Cambridge Massachusetts, Thaddeus Razdow has had a strong interest in science, art, design and technology since childhood. Mr.Razdow currently lives and works as a Graphic Designer in San Francisco. A graduate of Academy of art university's New Media program, his main focus has been logo design, campaign and branding. Recently he has begun work in mobile application development and web design. Writing for Mac directory gives Thaddeus the opportunity to explore the products and devices relevant to his interests and voice his opinions about new technology. Thaddeus's free time is occupied by his lifelong passion for All things automotive. You can often find him getting his hands dirty under the hood of a car, getting competitive at a local autocross, or relaxing with a car magazine. Thaddeus will continue to write for Mac directory, and in the future hopes to apply his writing experience to the automotive industry. Heather caspi is a freelance journalist with passions for health, safety, science, and technology. She previously spent 14 years as a public safety writer/editor, covering topics in emergency medical services, mobile integrated healthcare, disaster response, the fire service, and law enforcement. She first wrote for MacDirectory 10 years ago and is excited to be back. Heather graduated from the University of Maryland with degrees in journalism and English, and has spent her years since living in Oakland, California and now Boulder, Colorado. She has been known to write extremely bizarre poetry for entertainment, and to stage ridiculous photo shoots of her two small children. Vishakha sonawane is a freelance writer based in Bangalore, India.
