Vishakha hopes to become a travel journalist and wants people to see places through her eyes. Marco Perez-Moreno is a freelance writer living in Santiago, Chile. He graduated from Harvard College with an A.B. in Sociology. As an undergraduate, he conducted research in Mexico and New York City for his senior thesis that studied the educational attainment of first generation migrants. For his thesis, he won the Joan Morthland Hutchins Thesis Prize for best undergraduate thesis concerning Latinos in the United States. After graduating, Marco worked for Harvard Public Affairs and Communications, coordinating the communications pertaining to Harvard's educational initiatives in the city of Boston. From there, he moved to Chile to work for Harvard University's David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies. Bill troop has written for several computer magazines, including PC Magazine, Macworld, MacWEEK, and MacDirectory. His 1993 article "Silicon Valley IDE mirror card: safety in numbers" in PC Magazine described the then-revolutionary first RAID product available for personal computers. It was the first and only article on this product—it would be some time before RAID was accepted by personal computer users. He is the principal author of "The Film Developing Cookbook", in print continuously since 1998, and widely considered to be the standard contemporary work on black and white film processing and chemistry. As a chemist, he has designed products for Photographers' Formulary, Inc., including TF-4, the first alkaline fixer for black and white film and papers to be sold. ric Getter arrived on the media scene in the early 70's when nothing could out- gun a motor drive Nikon SLR and a bandolier of Tri-X film. He moved into video, mastering the "preroll and pray" technique of videotape editing, moving up to CMX's and non-linear editing when that came into fashion. Now fast forward to Silicon Valley 1980. He found himself rebelling against the cubicle caverns where he tried to resuscitate old database and Cobol code and burning much of his energy trying to stay out of the 3 piece suite that was trying to replace his Banana Republic photographer's vest.
