All three ATEM HD switchers have been upgraded to an extent that they deserve a new name, Constellation. They also benefit from the new 5x5 multiview display and, among other improvements have a more robust digital video effects. At moments like this, it can be easy to forget that Blackmagic Design, like Apple, is primarily a hardware company. That hardware, however, depends on ingenious, superbly designed software.
