Inside Job What lets the Agile cross the often blurry line between a messenger bag and a true briefcase is the semi-rigid framework allows it to keep its shape and provide a solid framework for the valuables it carries. Over its long lifetime, it will never succumb to messenger-bag-droop. The back and sides are foam padded for additional protection. Sealed by a weather-resistant YKK top zipper, the main compartment keeps what you’re carrying organized and well cared-for. Two padded pockets can hold a laptop and tablet, or even two laptops, both of which will probably be travelling more comfortably than you are in their plush, velvety sleeves. Pockets along the opposite side offer three pen-width pockets and two that are wider, suitable for power adapters, eyeglass cases, or other smaller items that demand some protection and care. The interior is roomy enough for books, magazines, documents, water bottles etc. Like many of its cases, WaterField Designs lined the Agile with durable and bright gold-colored fabric. It’s almost like having an dome light come on in your briefcase when you open it. Things slide easily and smoothly in and out and you can always find what you’re looking for. On the outside, the Agile provides the perfect balance between functionality and elegance. The flap over the large exterior pocket is also a zippered pouch for all the things you need to get at quickly and easily. There is a keychain lanyard that tucks into its own small pocket to keep your sharp keys from scratching their pouch-mates. Like the interior, it’s lined with bright gold fabric for easy visibility. The full-height leather pocket the flap covers is ideal for larger items like magazines, paperwork, or even your laptop or tablet, that you’ll want quick access to while you’re on the move.
