Apple Officially Launches Final Cut Pro Certification Training for Creatives Months ago, editors in the industry submitted an open letter to Apple regarding their investment in Final Cut Pro as an editing platform. To demonstrate their commitment to building Final Cut Pro as a professional video editing tool for post-professionals in the film and entertainment industries, Apple, uncharacteristically, addressed the letter in a press release. The release acknowledged editors’ concerns and publicly reinforced Apple’s ongoing support to the Final Cut Pro community. Apple stated they will “launch new training products and Apple-authorized certifications for pro video starting this month with their partner Future Media Concepts.” Apple is also committed to establishing a panel of industry experts for regular consultations, starting this summer. They will also expand the content and frequency of Final Cut Pro workshops for major film and television products on an international level.
