MD: What projects are you working on at the moment? PP: I always have a number of interesting projects going on. Right now I am working with a large toy manufacturer on a very cool character design, as well as characters for a charity foundation and some cryptocurrency related projects. I also have a corporate identity project in the works and am working on a design for a real-time strategy gaming design that requires the creation of many different buildings, landscapes and other assets. My work is exceptionally varied and I work with clients from all kinds of industries, so I am constantly challenged and never bored. That’s why I love what I do! MD: How do you promote yourself in the art community and to clients? PP: To be honest, I don’t promote myself much because I have a good problem - too much business. Most of the client inquiries come through my portfolio, which I provide on Behance, Instagram, and a few other websites. I am easy to find online when I am wanted for a project. MD: How has the pandemic affected your work? PP: While COVID -19 is a scary topic both personally and professionally, I am fortunate that it has not negatively impacted my ability to get projects. In fact, I have had more clients (and therefore more income) since the pandemic began. For that, I am very grateful. MD: What’s the number one thing you seek in a graphic design software? PP: As a busy designer with demanding clients, I need software that allows me to create designs quickly. With CorelDRAW Graphics Suite I can create and finish designs at an incredible pace.
