Advice for Creative Minds Don’t give up when you feel like giving up. As long as you don’t give up, your chances aren’t zero. But if you give up, your chances are zero and it really is over. For people suffering from art block, I always recommend going back to where you first fell in love with art. It’s really tough these days with social media, because there is so much out there. It’s so easy to get distracted and lose touch with everything. I believe you should do art for fun at the very beginning, as almost all people do when they are kids. If you forget that, go back to whatever it was that made you excited in the first place, and try to tune everything else out. Once you go back to that place where it’s fun, you can find a way to merge that feeling with the things you need to do to get better. You can learn to trust what you want to do, what makes you feel happy, and that’s going to help you push forward in your career.
