What are the challenges involved with being a full time artist? For me time management is the most challenging part of being a full time artist. Since there is not a definite 9-5 work day it is easy for me to overwork myself. I have been learning to set boundaries and days off for myself so I don’t get burnt out. What advice would you give to up-and-coming artists? Be easy on yourself! Being an artist is a journey, not a destination. Try not to compare yourself to people who are further in their journey- you will get there! Do you have any recommendations for obtaining clients? Be professional, kind and never miss your deadlines! What hardware helps you get the job done? System and peripherals. (Specific type of Mac/PC and drawing tablet etc.) I use my MacBook Pro Laptop with my Wacom Cintiq Pro 13HD to do all of my digital work.
