Video conferencing with your parents, grandparents, co- workers, and friends has become the new norm. With COVID -19 families are not visiting each other, and grandparents are not seeing their grandkids as frequently as they used to. Parents are also spending more time at home, but also working from home and are counting of their baby cameras more than ever to alert them when they need to jump of f a work call. This is where Hubble Connected comes in. This robust application works with Motorola's Peekaboo camera, as well as all of Motorola's line of home and baby video monitoring cameras. The Peekaboo is a single camera, and thanks to Hubble Connected, you can use your phone as the monitor—no need to carry a monitor around. Afterall, you use your phone for ever y thing else. Additionally, because you use the app to stream live video from the camera, this is a great way for grandparents to peek into the life of their grandkids from the other end of the country (or the world). Once the app is downloaded, star t streaming live video. It's very intuitive, and easy to use. So, you can keep an eye on your baby even while you take a conference call in the living room. If your baby moves, you can tilt the camera to adjust—it's an easy click on your phone. Parents can now work while their babies nap and be sure they won't miss a thing. One of my favorite features is that it offers two-way audio, so if your baby wakes up a little, you can speak to soothe them immediately back to sleep. Grandparents can also connect to the camera's live feed to see the baby during a nap, they can even capture photos and record live feeds. The Peekaboo also has motion, sounds, and a temperature alerts—so your baby will always be safe. In addition, there is a space in the app where parents can log the baby's sleep diary as well as a space to track your baby's weight, height, feeds, and diaper changes. It also comes with pre-loaded lullabies and works with Amazon Alexa and Google assistant, so you can play those lullabies from any where. Finally, at the base, there is also a multi-colored night light that creates a calming environment for nap time. This is the baby monitor for the tech-savvy parents who do ever y thing on their phones and are looking to share those precious moments with their loved ones who are social distancing to stay safe.
