but realistic environments, weaving in and out of trees, making hairpin turns, and hovering just feet above the ground. The PC title is renowned for its accuracy, even utilizing legitimate drone control sticks as controllers. PC players can also use the course builder to replicate their real-life courses and get practice in before they risk their expensive drones in the real world. Imagine if ever y time you restarted the track from a crash landing it came with a $100 fee —shudder. The console version of Liftoff Drone Racing is far more accessible, and obviously playable on a console controller. Within a minute, I was f lying through the night time forest, aiming for the racing gates and tightening up my turns as I chased a ghost trail of my previous best time. It 's obvious to see how the game can be both a gateway for those interested in real world drone racing, and also a tool and a hobby for real life drone pilot s looking to get in some extra "stick time." If you fancy yourself a fisherman, grab your harpoon or your traps, star t upgrading your boat and expanding your fleet later this year in Fishing North Atlantic. Devolver Digital www.devolverdigital.com One of my favorite booths ever y year is the Devolver booth. I don't like it for it s f lashing light s or cool giveaways, but because they always bring a collection of small but polished games with innovative mechanic s and gameplay. Carrion and Disc Room both garnered their share of onlookers and queues to tr y out. The former has you playing as an amorphous creature who has escaped from prison, stalking the hallways and vents as you consume your jailers in this "reverse horror experience." The low bit art is almost unnoticeable thanks to the effectively creepy movement of the bright red blob as you half-stalk, half-rampage around the plat former levels.
