The Chamuera comes either with or without a hood, but the hood is awesome and comes highly recommended, not least because it also is gifted with the aforementioned super-soft inner lining. If I'm going to keep my head warm, I want it wrapped in this stuff. A thick drawstring runs through the hood while untapered sleeves harken to the thickness and sturdiness of this hooded jacket. Concealed vertical hand warming pockets adorn each side, with zippers that otherwise blend perfectly. For warmer temperatures, the Alvra Longsleeve Shirt is a fashionable choice. It's not quite f flannel, but it is thicker than your average long sleeve shirt, with a softer texture to match. It is soft like flannel, without the fuzz and much less thickness. The unique texture and weight of the Alvra is thanks to the cotton and kapok blend used to make the shirt. It's the first time I've worn a shirt with kapok in it, and I'm digging it. Kapok is not typically spun, so I have no idea what sort of magic Mammut used to incorporate it into their textiles, but it's awesome. The kapok is naturally lightweight and water-resistant, making it a great addition for any clothing designed for the outdoors. The Alvra has two but toned chest pockets with diagonally offset fabric so that they purposefully stand out a bit. This isn't your classic work shirt where the pat tern lines up perfectly
