The 21" expandable spinner
carry-on has a very simple
design: split book opening
style. There are just two main
compartments. One of them
has a zippered divider for
packing flexibility, the other
side has tie-down straps. Of
course there are zippered
pockets for smaller items as
well. The interiors are soft to
the touch—from the zippers
to the lining, this is a quality
bag that will last a lifetime.
I really appreciated that
Delsey went out of its way
to add a TSA-accepted lock
on this carry-on. I have
been just about to board a
plane when the attendant
decided to check my bag at
no additional cost. I am not
usually prepared for my carry-
on to get checked—after all,
at this point the plane is just
a few feet away. This is where
the lock comes in! Without
hesitation I can let go,
because Delsey has thought
of protecting my carry-on at
all times, even when it's not in
the overhead compartment.
Finally, what sets this carry-
on apart from the rest is the
USB port that is conveniently
on the back. There is a power
back sleeve (it doesn't come
with a power bank; you do
need your own) on the inside
that connects directly to the
back of the carry-on. This
allows you to charge your
devices without having to
also worry about holding a
power bank in your hands.
