We Want More!
1. Are there any artists you wish to collaborate with in the future?
I'd love to collaborate with Cardi B—she seems fun and I love her voice.
2. Do you prefer the larger festival crowds, or the smaller venue
shows?
I do love the festivals just cause I used to love going to them when I was
younger and now, after I play, I gallivant around enjoying the day. That
being said, I think the venue shows are just as amazing but in a different
way. When it's my own headline show I know that everyone there wants to
be there enough to buy a ticket and come down to the show. That is an
amazing feeling and it really feels special playing to people in that scenario.
3. What's the process like before any show?
I'm pretty chilled out before a show. I always limber up and stretch though
because my show does involve a lot of me bouncing around. Vocal warm
ups can be boring so I usually just sing old gospel songs to warm up my
voice.
Also no cigarettes 30 minutes before stage time.
4. Do you enjoy being on tour and traveling the world?
Absolutely. I've always loved traveling and I like to move onto the next
place quickly so this is the perfect life for me! I've seen some really amazing
places already in my career and that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't
for the music.
