Luckily, iOS allows you to check the battery usage of your iPhone to find the culprit. 1. Go to Settings. 2.Tap Battery, and there you'll find a list of apps along with their battery usage in the past 24 hours and the last 7 days. 3. You'd be better off disabling Background App Refresh altogether or for apps with high battery consumption. 1. Go to Settings. 2. Tap on General. 3. Tap on Background App Refresh. 4. You can save battery by disabling Location Services altogether or only for the apps that shouldn't track your location. 5. Disable or Limit Email Fetch Frequency When you add email accounts to the Mail app, you can adjust how often your device checks for new emails. To save battery, you'd be better off adjusting the settings such that new emails are fetched less frequently (e.g. every half an hour). If you don't require this feature at all, you can disable it completely. 1. Go to Settings. 2. Tap Accounts & Passwords. 3.Tap Fetch New Data.
