Hoka One One, what would have been considered a niche brand merely 10 years ago, is quickly becoming a household name and solidifying itself as one of the best running brands on the market.  From ultra-comfortable shoes with crazy cushions to ultra-fast racers built for speed, Hoka One One is unapologetically focused on making running easier, regardless of your level of experience. The Bondi 7 is the shoe I think about when I hear Hoka One One (often referred to as just Hoka).  Packed with plush cushioning for your feet, the Bondi 7 is one of Hoka’s most comfortable and most popular shoes.  They are so comfortable, in fact, that they have earned a following among non-runners alike—with many service industry workers and people who spend all day on their feet flooding the Hoka pages with positive reviews. With a balanced feel, the Bondi 7 is ideal for training across a breadth of distances and terrains.  Hoka specifically mentions recovery runs and increasing your overall distance.  All that cushioning does add some bulk to the shoe, but as long as you’re not looking to break any records, the added weight is well worth it. The legendary comfort is built on the Hoka running shoe foundation, including their Meta Rocker design.  It complements the natural heel-to-toe rhythm and gait of running, easing the transition between each and every step and propelling your feet forward.  A hearty rubber outsole adds durability and stability to the shoe, while a full EVA midsole provides the desired structure. The Bondi 7 uses a mesh upper that holds its shape extremely well, keeping the shoe breathable without being flimsy.
