Stand Up and Cheer! Another great feature will benefit those with more ideas than graphics and animation tools. The Puppet Maker will let users work from pre-drawn and rigged puppets. There will even be a builder tool for these kits to be assembled by in-house desigers to share with their teams. This is also in the public beta. Another bit of good news: now Character Animator runs natively on M1 Macs. The Core of the Issue After Effects does a lot of hard work and that is sometimes a little too obvious when you’re working with it. The rendering pipeline has been a bit too narrow for some of the projects you’re pushing through it. The new public beta of the program introduces a feature called Multi-Frame Rendering. This takes advantage of the multiple graphic cores in the new Mac Pros to do more work in less time. The addition also lets the program automatically catch up on rendering tasks while the system is idle with a feature called Speculative Rendering. Another handy addition is that After Effects will notify you via your Apple Watch when a render has completed.
