The last place I expected to find such a nice sound was on a pair of workout-focused, true wireless earbuds! The audio quality is even more impressive when paired with the free Jabra Sound+ app on your phone. I know what you're thinking, "seriously, another smartphone app for my headphones?" But this one is really worth installing! The app includes full control of a five- layer audio equalizer, allowing you to tune the sound just how you like it, and it works well. The Sound+ app also allows you to turn on or off Jabra's Hear Through feature, which passes external audio through the headphones. Because the sound isolation is so great on the Elite Active 65t, the Hear Through feature really comes in handy. Turn it on when you're running near cars, or in the office and may have to speak with coworkers; turn it off during your commute or when you're buckling down to focus on the next assignment. Since the Elite Active 65t are great in a plethora of situations, the application notification actually includes easy access to four different 'modes'—your custom mode, a commuting option, a focused mode, and a running mode (in turn, each of these can be tuned based on your desires). Because of these easily accessible features, the Sound+ app is one of the first headphone apps that I find myself using regularly. The app will also give you battery information, update your headphone firmware, locate your earbuds if lost, and easily register your new headphones. With your phone in your pocket, the Elite Active 65t are still easy to control. The buttons are reliable and require less pressure than a lot of other true wireless earbuds, so you actually might use them to control volume, skip tracks, and play or pause your music. Additionally, the Elite Active 65t also come with voice integration support. Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant all work rather well with these headphones, and don't require taking out your phone to get some simple tasks done. If nothing else, it's great having a virtual DJ on my runs. While more and more true wireless headphones tout voice integration, the Elite Active 65t were the first pair where I found myself using the feature even after testing. Between their high-end build quality, superior sound signature (for true wireless earbuds), and robust smartphone app, the Jabra Elite Active 65t will quickly become your go-to headphones on the move. Take them to the office and keep them on for the gym, because these things are a blast in any setting. For more information, visit: www.jabra.com
