subwoofer, though it hardly seems necessary. The LSX go pretty low for a smaller set of speakers. They also get very loud without getting in the way. As someone who loves loud music, this has become one of my favorite LSX attributes—I can pump up the volume but still hear my friends talk. Cheaper speakers simply blast the volume and leave no space for conversation. I expected superb sound quality from the LSX, and I was not disappointed. Their smaller form put me closer to the music, and let me experience KEF hi-fidelity in a new way. Rather than worrying about filling a room with amazing sound, I can experience music very up close and personally, in a manner that had me leaving my headphones in the drawer. I was, however, pleasantly surprised with what KEF has done to make the LSX more user friendly and all around more embedded in a wireless world. For music lovers who find the world of audiophiles and hi-fidelity music equipment a little intimidating, and, if I'm being honest, a little pompous to wade into, these LSX speakers are the gift that keeps on giving. They add both width and depth to any music source, with near perfect imaging, and all without lifting a finger. If you want to evolve your appreciation for music, the KEF LSX wireless speakers are the easiest way to do it, bar none. For more information, visit: www.shop.us.kef.com
