Adero Starter Kit Does Dad need help to stay organized? Adero may be the solution. This technology-forward idea can help calm the chaos under the guise of being cutting edge. Adero is a new brand from Trackr, and it leverages a lot of lessons from the latter’s Bluetooth trackers. While each Trackr works independently, Adero aims to create families of items that belong together, usually organized in a bag—think gym bag, diaper bag, briefcase, carry-on, etc. Each of these ‘smart containers’ (as Adero calls them) is equipped with a Smart Tag. The Smart Tag is the papa bear for the Adero system, making sure all the expected items are in their place. To create this relationship, Dad can use a number of Taglets. The Taglets are small responders that can be placed on virtually anything, from laptops to tools to wallets. Each Taglet has an adhesive back and lasts for about two years. As long as the surface is smooth and flat, the Taglets have a very strong hold. So here is the idea—place Taglets on a bunch of related items, and a Smart Tag on a bag. When you click the Smart Tag, it will flash green if all the relevant items are accounted for, and red if you are missing an item. You can then open the smartphone app to see exactly what you are missing, trigger a quiet alarm, and see additional details about the last known location. Adero is a cool system that is only limited by the imagination. The relatively affordable Taglets have infinite uses and should be considered for more than just tracking your keys. Adero targets new parents, frequent travelers, and gym sharks as prime examples of who can benefit from the smart organization system, but there are so many uses for these smart item trackers. Give Dad the Adero system, and maybe he’ll stop realizing that he forgot something 30 minutes into your next trip. Probably not, but maybe. For more information, visit: shop.adero.com/products/kits
